EARLY DETECTION OF CALCIFICATION
Vascular calcification is a major health problem worldwide. The blood test T50, developed further by the Berne biotechnology start-up CALCISCO at the Inselspital Bern for clinical application, provides an in-vitro analysis of the blood serum on the calcification tendency. The test has the potential to become a systematic test procedure for renal patients, to enable a personalized therapy approach, to optimize the course of the therapy and to improve the survival rate.
