BCOMP – LIGHTWEIGHT NATURAL FIBER SKI
Today, the core of a ski or a snowboard is usually plastic, wood or a mixture of both. For this purpose, the Freiburg-based company Bcomp has developed a composite of plant fibers. The skis are thus up to 30 percent lighter. Bcomp has already entered the sporting goods market. Ski manufacturers test skis with the new material. Even in the winter, boards will be launched, the core of which is the Bcomp brand.
