GPS FOR LIVER SURGERY
Surgical procedures on the liver are not easy. Support from the computer is now available thanks to the young company CAScination. CEO Matthias Peterhans developed a navigation system for liver surgery together with the professors Stefan Weber (University of Bern) and Daniel Candidas (Inselspital Bern) with CAS-One. This facilitates the surgeon’s work and increases cancer chances in cancer patients with metastases in the liver.
