WHY APPLY?
HOW TO APPLY
IMPORTANT: It’s crucial that the CEO of the company applies and goes through the entire process personally. The application deadline is January 7, 2019. Please read the FAQ below for further important dates. In order to apply for the W.A. de Vigier Award 2019 you need to:
- Fill out the form with your contact information in your preferred language (English, deutsch, français). After that you will receive an email with a link to a PDF form.
- Fill out the pdf form electronically
- Email the pfd form plus the CV of the CEO to apply@devigier.ch
ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
We are going to evaluate:
- Founder and entrepreneur profile
- Innovative character
- Overall relevance in society; the degree to which it satisfies an existing need
- Feasibility of the project’s realisation from a
- technical standpoint
- financial standpoint
- Chances of success on the market
- size of the potential market
- number of jobs created
- Market competitiveness

- Formation of an AG (PLC) or GmbH (LLC) based in Switzerland to realize and market the project

The Selection Day Top 60 takes place at Palais Besenval in Solothurn. Most of the other assessments, preparations and the Award Ceremony are taking place at the de Vigier Sommerhaus in Solothurn.
