VACCINE FOR THE BARBECUE WITHOUT REGRET
The bacterium Campylobacter is harmless to pooches. However, in humans, it triggers a gastrointestinal infection. Every year around 8,000 people in Campylobacter bacteria are infected in Switzerland alone. The damage is immense, simply because the patients can not work for many days and some have to be hospitalized. Malcisbo wants to tackle the root problem with a cheap vaccine for fattening chickens.
