OUR MANAGEMENT

HANNA BYLAND
CEO
Hanna Byland is Chief Executive Officer of the W.A. de Vigier Foundation.
She is a Swiss lawyer and works across executive leadership, foundation governance and legal counsel. Alongside her role at the Foundation, she serves on foundation boards and investment committees and advises Swiss foundations on governance and legal matters.
Working across these different roles has taught her that entrepreneurship and enduring institutions depend on the same qualities: thoughtful judgement, responsible stewardship and people who are willing to build for the long term.
At the W.A. de Vigier Foundation, she works with the de Vigier family, the Foundation Board, entrepreneurs, alumni and partners to carry the Foundation’s purpose forward and to create the conditions in which entrepreneurial talent can thrive.
“Bill de Vigier understood that remarkable companies are built by remarkable entrepreneurs. It is a privilege to help carry that conviction forward and to support the next generation as they build businesses that contribute to Switzerland’s future.”
