Portable system for preventive dental care anywhere
Oral diseases affect more than 3.5 billion people worldwide and are linked to serious chronic conditions, yet preventive dental care is often difficult to access. Many patients avoid regular visits due to travel, waiting times, or fear of clinical environments. Dental Robotics addresses this challenge with an ultra-portable 3-in-1 dental hygiene system and digital platform that enables professional care outside traditional clinics. Hygienists can deliver preventive treatments in homes, workplaces, and care facilities. By bringing dental care closer to patients, Dental Robotics aims to improve access, encourage regular check-ups, and support better long-term oral and overall health.
The problem the company addresses is both widespread and often underestimated. Preventive dental care is still tied to clinic visits, which many patients delay or avoid due to travel, waiting times, or fear. As a result, oral diseases affect more than 3.5 billion people globally and are increasingly linked to broader health conditions such as cardiovascular disease.
Existing dental equipment is heavy, fragmented, and dependent on fixed clinical infrastructure, making preventive care difficult to deploy efficiently in mobile, outreach, and capacity-flexible settings. This creates a major operational barrier for providers seeking to expand care delivery beyond conventional dental chairs, as current portable solutions are heavy, outdated, and inconvenient to carry.
Dental Robotics is developing a mobile system for preventive dental care, moving treatment from clinics to where patients are. The company replaces equipment-heavy setups with an ultra-portable 3-in-1 unit that allows hygienists to carry out professional treatments in a wide range of settings, reducing the need for fixed infrastructure.
The startup’s solution combines portable hardware with a digital platform that connects patients, hygienists, and dentists, supporting treatment, documentation, and coordination. By simplifying setup and reducing logistical complexity, the system enables hygienists to work more efficiently while maintaining consistent standards of care.
In practice, the system is designed for homes, workplaces, and care facilities—settings that are particularly relevant for patients who rarely visit a dental clinic. By bringing care into familiar environments, the model lowers practical and psychological barriers and encourages more regular preventive treatment.
The company targets a global dental care market estimated at around USD 25 billion, with a clear focus on prevention.
