SHORTER WAITING TIME THANKS TO COUNTING SENSOR
Xovis has developed a people counting sensor that helps optimize operational processes: it analyzes movements and calculates waiting times. The sensor is based on video recordings, but only transmits anonymous counter data. Zurich Airport has already installed 65 sensors in the new security control building. They measure the load before the security checks, red and green traffic lights lead the passengers on the basis of the data. German airports are also interesting. Munich Airport has also opted for Xovis sensors to measure waiting times and optimize passenger flow. The sensor is suitable for all places where people have to wait: stations, museums or trade fairs.
