DEVELOPMENT OF AUTOLOGOUS FIBRIN FOR STOPPING BLEEDING
Avance Medical is the first company to develop a fully automated process to produce autogenous fibrin from the patient’s blood. Even during the operation, the fibrin is enriched with autologous white blood cells and growth factors and is sprayed directly onto the wounds as a sealant (sealant) at the end of the procedure but before the wound is closed. The anti-microbial properties of the fibrin are particularly effective against the feared hospital infections and lead to faster coagulation and wound healing.
