With small biosensors discover diseases quickly and inexpensively – of it has long been spoken. Now the Lausanne-based Abionic has developed a functioning prototype. It allows the diagnosis of allergies still in the doctor’s office. The device is scheduled to come on the market in 2013. This is only the beginning. In principle, the technology is also suitable for the diagnosis of many other diseases, such as cancer and heart disease.
