The power generation poses major challenges for electricity companies. If electricity has previously been generated centrally, renewable energies such as solar and wind power are produced decentrally. For the transport of the green electricity, the distribution network would have to be expanded, which is complex. Simon Summermatter, Managing Director of the startup company Ampard AG, has developed a control system for decentralized electricity storage. This allows the power to be fed to the right location efficiently at the right time.
